Sen Miao

I am a Marie Curie research fellow at Building Services Engineering, Chalmers University of Technology. I am also an Academic Editor of Indoor Air, Wiley.

I focus on Building Informatics and Indoor Environmental Quality. As a big fan of Statistical Inference and Machine Learning, I am committed to developing data-driven and physics-based approaches to better understand, model, and improve indoor environmental performance and occupant well-being. My particular interests include:

i) Physics-informed machine learning;

ii) Uncertainty-aware system modelling;

iii) Agent-based building simulation;

iv) AI-enabled human–building interaction.
